Q: What book do you think would make a great Halloween movie? Please explain in graphic detail of goriness...

A: Well, this is probably extremely predictable of me.... BUT, I think The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer would make an awesome Halloween movie! They could really creep-up the insane asylum (with all the doors slamming closed??), and the Ouija board incident. And then when that dog owner's head is all smashed in? That would be disgusting- and awesome.

  5. I love this book! It's so hard to tell if everything is in Mara's head or if she's really seeing what's happening to her. Great choice. And I can't wait for the next one.

  11. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer did flit into my brain when I was trying to answer this question. I must admit, though, that I wasn't a huge fan of Mara Dyer.

  15. Thanks for stopping by! I usually try to stay away from unnecessary gore, so I haven't read the book, but by the sound of it, it would make a good Halloween pick!

  16. I have this book on my shelf but I haven't read it yet. I didn't realise it was so creepy, not sure I want to read it now! I am such a coward. Agree it sounds like it would be a good halloween movie though.
